TAMARAC, Fla. – Authorities investigate a reported bomb threat at Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek on Saturday in Tamarac.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office bomb squad responded to the synagogue at 5700 NW 94 Ave.
Deputies closed the synagogue access at 57th Street in the West Broward County residential neighborhood.
Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek hosts a Hebrew school, early childhood services and a youth group, according to their site. Their Shabbat morning services are at 9 a.m.
Earlier this year, federal authorities investigated possible civil rights violations in connections with threats to Jewish Community Centers across the country.
