HIALEAH. Fla. – Hurricane Maria left thousands in Puerto Rico without a home, and the entire island without power.

In order to help those impacted by the hurricane, several groups will be collecting items to be shipped to the island starting Tuesday.

The drop off location for these products is 885 W. 18th St., Hialeah.

Products needed include water purification tablets, personal care kits, gasoline containers, canned food, trash bags, small tents, gloves, flashlights, diapers, baby formula, first aid kits, sleeping bags, towels and hand sanitizer.

Those who wish to make a monetary donation can do so with the following links: IsraAid and United for Puerto Rico or emailing donations@canitindustries.com.
