CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A girl rescued her sister from drowning on Friday night. She was in the pool of their house in Coral Springs when she found her.

The girl alerted adults that Manaal Mohiuddin, her one-year-old sister, had found her way to the pool. She was in the backyard of a home in the Kessington Commons community.

An adult pulled her out and took her to the kitchen area, where she was when Coral Springs police officers and firefighters arrived to the home near Westview Drive and Northwest 55th Street.

After the girl regained her pulse through cardiopulmonary resuscitation, firefighters took her to Broward Health Coral Springs. Doctors transferred her to Broward Health Medical Center, where she remained Friday night.
